1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BLUF application, website, and related services (the "Service") operated by [Company Legal Name] ("BLUF," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must:
be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement
not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of BLUF is lawful in your country, state, or region. We may restrict access in certain locations at our discretion. BLUF is a game of skill and strategy. Availability of real-money deposit or withdrawal features does not mean the Service is offered or licensed as a gambling service in every jurisdiction.
3. ANONYMOUS ACCOUNTS AND RECOVERY CODES
4.1 No mandatory registration You may play as a guest using a device-based account without providing email or phone number. 4.2 Recovery code You will receive a unique recovery code in the format: BLUF-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX This code is the primary way to restore your account on a new device. You are solely responsible for storing your recovery code securely. If you lose your recovery code and lose access to your original device, we may not be able to restore your account, chips, or progress. 4.3 Optional account linking You may optionally link third-party login methods (such as Google) to your account. Linking does not remove your responsibility to safeguard your recovery code unless we explicitly state otherwise in-product. 4.4 One account per person You may not create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, free chip grants, referrals, or withdrawal systems.
4. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
BLUF is a stylized online Texas Hold'em experience offering modes such as: - Offline Practice — play against bots with cosmetic chips; no wallet charge - Private Tables — hosted rooms with room codes - Cash Tables — join and leave anytime with preset buy-in ranges - Ranked Matches — single-table tournaments with escalating blinds and leaderboard impact Gameplay rules, pot resolution, chip movement, fees, and match outcomes are determined by BLUF's authoritative game servers, not by the client app.
5. VIRTUAL CHIPS AND GAME ECONOMY
5.1 Chips are game currency Chips are a virtual in-game currency used for buy-ins, store purchases, and gameplay within BLUF. Except where explicitly stated in our withdrawal rules, chips: - have no real-world cash value - are not legal tender - are not a deposit account, bank account, or investment - cannot be exchanged outside the Service except through approved withdrawal features for eligible winnings 5.2 Free chips BLUF may offer free chips, including: - 500 welcome chips — one-time grant for new accounts - 100 daily chips — claimable once every 24 hours Free chip grants are promotional, may change or end at any time, are non-transferable, and are not withdrawable. 5.3 Offline practice Offline bot mode is free and uses cosmetic chips only. It does not affect your wallet balance. 5.4 Buy-ins and spending Online modes require sufficient chip balance for table buy-ins. If your balance is too low, you may be unable to join certain tables until you claim free chips or purchase more. When spending chips, the server may apply internal spending rules and priorities. The server balance is authoritative.
6. FEES AND HOUSE RULES
BLUF may charge fees depending on game mode: - Cash tables: 5% pot rake on completed pots - Ranked matches: 5% entry fee from the prize pool - Private tables: 5% entry fee from collected buy-ins - Offline practice: no fee Fees, payout structures, blind schedules, seat limits, and preset configurations are displayed in the Service and may be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, payout, or ledger errors.
7. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS
7.1 Chip store You may purchase chip packages through approved payment methods, which may include: - cryptocurrency deposits - mobile in-app purchases (where available) Prices, package sizes, and bonuses are shown in the store at the time of purchase. 7.2 First purchase bonus Eligible accounts may receive a one-time 100% bonus on the Starter Stack or Pocket Stack package only. Other packages grant base chips only. Bonus eligibility and package definitions are determined by the server. 7.3 Crypto deposits Crypto deposits are processed through third-party payment providers. You agree that: - you must send the exact amount to the correct address/network within the payment window - blockchain/network fees may apply and are your responsibility unless stated otherwise - deposits are credited only after payment confirmation by our systems - mistaken, incomplete, or late payments may not be credited - crypto transactions are generally irreversible Purchased chips and promotional store grants are not withdrawable unless expressly stated otherwise. 7.4 No refunds except where required by law All purchases are final once chips are credited, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise. Chargebacks, payment reversals, or fraudulent purchase activity may result in account suspension and chip reversal.
7. OTHER TERMS
8. WITHDRAWALS Withdrawals are optional and available only under BLUF's withdrawal rules. 8.1 Withdrawable balance Only chips earned as net winnings from: - Cash table play, and/or - Ranked match prizes may become withdrawable, subject to server calculation. The following are not withdrawable, including but not limited to: - welcome bonus chips - daily free chips - purchased/store chips - promotional bonuses - private-table winnings (unless later changed and explicitly stated in-product) - offline/practice chips The server is the sole authority on withdrawable balance. The client display is informational only. 8.2 Withdrawal process Withdrawal requests: - must be submitted through the in-app withdrawal flow - may require manual review - may require a valid destination wallet address provided by you - may be paid in supported assets such as USDT TRC20, as shown in the Service - are typically processed within 12 hours, but timing is not guaranteed We may delay, reject, or cancel withdrawals for fraud review, legal compliance, incorrect wallet details, suspicious activity, or Terms violations. 8.3 Conversion rate Withdrawals may use a published chip-to-USD conversion rate (currently aligned with store economics, for example 1100 chips = $1 USD equivalent). Rates and minimums may change with notice in the Service. 8.4 Taxes You are solely responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the Service, purchases, or withdrawals. 9. FAIR PLAY AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT You agree not to: - use bots, scripts, emulators, hacks, cheats, or unauthorized third-party tools - collude with other players or share cards/information unfairly - exploit bugs or economic glitches; report them instead - harass, threaten, use hate speech, spam, or abuse other players in chat or usernames - impersonate BLUF staff or other users - use offensive or illegal display names - attempt to bypass recovery, payment, withdrawal, or moderation systems - engage in fraud, money laundering, or unlawful financial activity - reverse engineer, scrape, or attack the Service or its infrastructure We may investigate violations and take action including warnings, chip adjustments, withdrawal freezes, suspension, or permanent bans. 10. USER CONTENT AND PUBLIC PROFILE You may choose a display name and avatar from our catalog. You grant BLUF a non-exclusive license to display this information in-game, including at tables, lobbies, and leaderboards. You are responsible for your conduct and any chat messages you send. We may remove content or rename accounts that violate these Terms. User avatar uploads are not supported in the current version. 11. ACCOUNT ENFORCEMENT We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, with or without notice, if we believe you: - violated these Terms - engaged in fraud or abuse - created risk to other users or the Service - are located in a restricted jurisdiction - are under 18 Enforcement actions may include: - account suspension or ban - withdrawal freeze - chip balance adjustment - invalidation or regeneration of recovery credentials where necessary for security You may lose access to chips, progress, rankings, and pending withdrawals if your account is terminated for cause. 12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The Service, including software, art, logos, UI, audio, text, and branding, is owned by BLUF or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful entertainment purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law. 13. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including: - game modes and presets - free chip amounts - store packages and bonuses - fees and payout tables - supported coins or withdrawal methods We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur. 14. DISCLAIMERS TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: - THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" - WE DO NOT GUARANTEE WINNINGS, UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION - BLUF IS A GAME SERVICE, NOT A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, EXCHANGE, OR INVESTMENT PLATFORM - WE DO NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, TAX, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE - YOU USE CRYPTO AND WITHDRAWAL FEATURES AT YOUR OWN RISK Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. 15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUF AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: - INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES - LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR CHIP BALANCE - UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DEVICE OR RECOVERY CODE - BLOCKCHAIN DELAYS, FAILED CRYPTO PAYMENTS, OR WALLET ERRORS - ACTIONS OF OTHER PLAYERS OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: - USD $100, or - THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BLUF IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the fullest extent permitted. 16. INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BLUF from claims, losses, and expenses arising from: - your use of the Service - your violation of these Terms - your violation of any law or third-party rights - your payment or withdrawal activity 17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION 17.1 Informal resolution Before filing a formal claim, contact support@bluf.space and allow 30 days for us to try to resolve the issue. 17.2 Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of [Country/State], excluding conflict-of-law rules. 17.3 Venue Except where prohibited, disputes will be brought in the courts of [City, Country], and you consent to their jurisdiction. 17.4 Optional arbitration / class waiver [Add arbitration clause here if your lawyer recommends it for your jurisdiction.] 18. MISCELLANEOUS Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and BLUF regarding the Service. Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect. No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Assignment: You may not assign your account or rights without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. Force majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
